OUR STORY

The Christ Church Thrift Shop is a ministry of Christ Episcopal Church that serves the Spotsylvania community while supporting the church’s outreach programs. Through donated items and the work of our dedicated all-volunteer staff, the shop provides affordable goods while helping fund ministries that care for our neighbors.

We have two buildings filled with deeply discounted treasures. Inside the Thrift Shop and Packard Building, you’ll find clothing for adults and children, shoes, accessories, jewelry, books, linens, housewares, furniture, seasonal items, collectibles, and more. Because the inventory changes frequently, every visit offers something new.

Every donation helps support Christ Episcopal Church outreach ministries and serve neighbors throughout our community.

“Serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.”
— 1 Peter 4:10

SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY THROUGH YOUR DONATIONS

How to Donate to Christ Episcopal Church

Thrift Shop

Have items to share? Donations from the community make this ministry possible. Donations may be brought to the Packard Building.

We can only accept donations during our regular hours of operation.

Please do not leave donations outside when the shop is closed.

We gratefully accept clean, usable and interesting items for resale. We cannot accept items that are badly broken, torn or stained.

Furniture pickup may be available for larger items—please call the shop to make arrangements.

All donations are tax deductible.

In Service To Others

Three people work behind a counter, processing clothing and items for a donation or sale at a thrift store.

The Christ Episcopal Church Thrift Shop is entirely supported by volunteers who help the shop serve the community and support Christ Episcopal Church outreach ministries.

Volunteering in the Thrift Shop is a meaningful way to serve others and support Christ Episcopal Church’s ministries. Through this ministry, we share what we have and care for our neighbors.

We welcome new volunteers to join us in this ministry!

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have,
for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”
