Rooted in Faith Since 1841
Whether you are new to the Episcopal tradition, exploring faith, or looking for a church home, we are glad you are here! Christ Episcopal Church is a welcoming community where people of all ages gather to worship, grow in faith, and care for one another.
Our life together centers on prayer, meaningful worship, and service to our neighbors. We believe faith grows best and blooms when it is shared in community — through learning, fellowship, and acts of compassion. At the heart of that shared life is worship.

Worship With Us
On Sunday mornings we gather for worship at 8:00 a.m.
(Rite I) and 10:30 a.m. (Rite II), following the liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer. Rite I uses more traditional, historic language, while Rite II uses more contemporary language, allowing worshippers to experience the richness of the Anglican tradition in different ways. Wednesdays
at noon we gather for our Celtic Eucharist, a meditative worship experience.
Our services include scripture, prayer, music (Rite II), and Holy Communion. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Holy Communion. Everyone, including children, are invited to come forward for a blessing.
What To Expect At An Episcopal Service
If you are new to the Episcopal church, you will notice that the congregation participates in the service using prayers and responses found in the Book of Common Prayer and our Sunday Service Bulletin. Our ushers and congregation are always happy to help if you have questions. Simply follow along and participate as you feel comfortable—there is no expectation that you will know everything the first time.
Families are an important part of our parish life.
Nursery care is available for our youngest children, and Sunday School is offered for children in preschool through 6th grade during part of the service. The children return to the church before Communion, reminding us that they are an integral part of our worshiping community. Youth Group for students in 7th through 12th grade meets every other Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. service for fellowship, conversation, and faith formation.
The presence of children and youth in our worship and fellowship
is a joyful reminder that faith grows across generations.
